Find out what happened at the Q1 2024 Reading UK Dynamics 365 and Power Platform User Group meetup in Reading, England.
Yesterday, Areti Iles, Fraser Dear and I hosted our first meetup 2024 meetup for the Reading Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
User Group.
This took place at our new venue kindly provided by Fraser - the BCN offices near Green Park in Reading,
We
were very lucky to have 2 great presenters - Suparna Banerjee and Jason Murphy.
Suparna gave a great session on using Power Platform pipelines, and the process of integrating with Azure DevOps and GitHub repos.
In Jason's talk, we learned some great tips on how to work better with Power Automate by splitting large tasks into child flows, defining 'management columns' to monitor statuses, and using object variables as an alternative to multiple variables.
