Dynamics 365 and Power Platform User Group Q1 2025 meetup
February 26. 2025
Find out what happened at the Q1 2025 Reading UK Dynamics 365 and Power Platform User Group meetup in Reading, England.
On February 26th, 2025, the Reading Dynamics 365 & Power Platform User Group, which I co-organize with Areti Iles and Fraser Dear, held its first event of the year.

The evening was filled with insightful sessions and networking opportunities, and we were fortunate to feature two incredible community members: Rory Neary and Tricia Sinclair.
Rory Neary: Power Platform Top Tips and Tricks
Rory Neary's session was truly fantastic and engaging. It began with an insightful discussion on Gestalt Principles, followed by great tips covering Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI. These all-around tips provided attendees with valuable knowledge to apply in their own projects. The highlight of his session was an interactive QR code Flow that allowed attendees to receive an email with the slide content.
Tricia Sinclair: Comparing Low Code Bot ApplicationsTricia Sinclair's session started with a fascinating history of co-pilot, which was new to me. This began with a description of Microsoft Bob, followed by the subsequent timeline that covered acquisitions like Nuance and the partnership with OpenAI. She then gave an impressive demo of Co-pilot Studio, showcasing its capabilities. Her comparison of Azure Bot and Co-pilot provided attendees with valuable knowledge to make informed decisions about their own bot development strategies. The highlight of the session was an AI-generated Co-pilot song that captivated the audience.
